According to a statistic by the provincial Industrial Zones Authority, there are 377 ongoing enterprises in 6 industrial parks (IPs) in the entire province including Van Trung, Quang Chau, Hoa Phu, Dinh Tram, Song Khe - Noi Hoang and Vietnam - Korea. The total number of workers in these enterprises is nearly 192,000.

In order to reach immunization in labourers, more than 277,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered to workers in the enterprises since May. Of which, 183,000 workers have been vaccinated with one Covid-19 vaccine shot, reaching 98 percent and more than 97,000 workers have been fully vaccinated, about 50 percent.

According to Tu Quoc Hieu, Director of the Department of Health, the province has been allocated about 150,000 vaccine doses. These vaccines will be administered in next 5 to 7 days mostly for Bac Giang city and workers in the IPs aiming to quickly administering the 2nd vaccine shots to the IPs. With the current vaccine quantity, the province is able to administer about 50,000 to 60,000 doses per day.

The Health Sector warns labourers to strictly implement the regulations on the pandemic prevention, limit gatherings and crowded weddings, which should be organized in simple way because the vaccination rate with 2 shots is still low.

Bac Giang to organize Covid-19 vaccinations on March 11

(BGO) - The provincial Department of Health said that with the amount of Covid-19 vaccine of AstraZeneca company allocated by the Ministry of Health, it will instruct the pilot vaccinations at two units and then organize massive injections across health facilities in the province.

Bac Giang to organize second vaccination against Covid-19 from April 17

(BGO) – From the second vaccine batch provided by the Health Ministry, the Health Department in Bac Giang province distributed to 23 units of medical centers at provincial and district levels as well as 10 districts and city. Luc Ngan district received the most doses (1,704 doses) while other districts and city were provided about 1,080 to 1,620 doses.
