Bac Giang receives 8,300 more Covid-19 vaccine doses
The doses of AstraZeneca vaccine were distributed by the Ministry of Health in the 12th and 13th batches provided by the Japanese Government and imported by Vietnam Vaccine Joint Stock Company (VNVC).

The Pfizer vaccine doses were allocated by the Ministry of Health in the 8th batch from the source of the National Expanded Immunization Project.
After arriving in the province, the vaccines were stored at the special storage of the provincial Center for Disease Control.
Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Health Nguyen Thi Thu Huong said the above vaccines will be prioritised for workers in a joint effort to recover safe production among businesses, especially in industrial parks.
So far, the province has received 312,140 doses of four vaccines, including the UK’s AstraZeneca, China’s Vero Cell, and the US’s Pfizer and Moderna.
With the motto of safely injecting all of the vaccines distributed, as of July 26, nearly 285,900 vaccine doses had been administered in the province, including over 180,400 doses for workers and the remaining ones for frontline forces and teachers on duty during exams in line with the Government’s Resolution No.21 about purchasing and using vaccines.
