Nguyen The Cuong, a 70 year-old man born in Ninh Binh province, is now living in Hanoi. He is the owner of Thach Mon Trang Farm in Xuong Lam commune, Lang Giang district and Bac Giang -based Thach Ban Granite Ceramic Factory in Nham Son commune, Yen Dung district; hence, he has been attached to the homeland of Bac Giang for a long time.

Cuong said, Thach Ban Granite Ceramic Factory received a lot of attention and support from the party committee and government at all levels when they faced numerous difficulties at the very beginning of operation in Bac Giang a few years ago.

With the sentiment and responsibility for his second homeland, Cuong and Chau decided to donate 500 million VND (21,560 USD) to join hand with Bac Giang province in the fight against Covid-19.

On this occasion, Nguyen The Cuong presented the scientific research thesis “using thermal room to kill novel corona virus adhere to human’s body” to the provincial leaders and some competent agencies of Bac Giang province. He directly carried out the research and defended it to the science council.

Addressing the event, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Anh Duong stressed, the provincial party committee, government and people in the province are mobilizing all resources for pandemic prevention although no Covid-19 infected cased confirmed in Bac Giang.

Particularly, the province has spent a large amount of fund from state budget and donation from society to buy necessary equipment and facilities for health check and treatment.

In Bac Giang province, after the provincial Fatherland Front Committee called all people to support the pandemic prevention and control, many organizations and individuals actively responded to the mobilization under various methods such as presenting medical equipment, materials and necessities.

The provincial Vice Chairman showed his gratitude to Nguyen The Cuong’s family for their kind support to Bac Giang. He wished them good health and happiness. The above-mentioned sum of money will be properly used for Covid-19 fight.
