At the provincial National Defence and Security Education Center, 4 organizations and enterprises including Hanoi based Xuan Vi Company Limited; Hanoi based Dai Bao Medical Equipment Co.,Ltd, Hanoi based EOC Vietnam Co.,Ltd and provincial Red Cross Society handed over 6,000 face masks, 500 disease preventive clothes, 100 boxes of Vinamilk, 50 boxes of instant noodle and 40 million VND (over 1,800 USD) to the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

The necessities and materials were donated by the enterprises and the Vietnam Red Cross Society.

Addressing the event, Permanent Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thu Hong acknowledged the kind-heart sponsors to join hands in presenting the medical materials and essential commodities for the local Covid-19 fight.

She encouraged and shared the hardship that the health officers, staff and armed force, especially those directly working at the isolated sites, hospitals and medical centers encounter days and nights to examine, screen and monitor the health condition for the residents and quarantined cases as well as supervise the risk of Covid – 19 infection and outbreak in the province with an active and volunteer spirit.

The presents are delivered to the provincial isolated areas.

The provincial leader hoped that in the upcoming time the provincial FFC will further call on more and more enterprises, organizations and sponsors to donate to help Bac Giang people in such urgent time to prevent and fight against the pandemic.

At the same day, the Bac Giang branch of Agribank called on all officers and staff to make donation for Covid-19 prevention and control. Accordingly, each person donated one day salary, making a total donation of some 250 million VND (10,700 USD).

The good deep helped add the sources and join hands with the local authority and sectors to conduct the preventive measures, partly keep the social security, living safety and health for the residents.
