Three sisters of Dang Thi Linh, Dang Thu Trang and Dang Thi Thuong in Dau Cau village, Yen My commune (Lang Giang district) have lived under difficult circumstances for years. The father was passed away long time ago while the sick mother is hospitalized every month. Sometimes three students thought of dropping out the school. Thanks to the due attention from local authority, the family was supported the expense to build the humanitarian house.

Via the connection of the Fund, the three sisters have been sponsored by their French parent since 2014 who annually provide them 3 – 5 million VND (130 – 216 USD) to realize the school dream.
Linh now gets a stable job after graduating from high school. Trang has recently completed the national high school graduation exam with a hope to follow a military university. Thuong is an comprehensively excellent student at nine grade in Yen My secondary school. The result is the sweet fruit for their great effort to overcome the miserable life with the close accompany of the French god parent and the Fund’s kind officers.
In Yen Khe village, Song Khe commune (Bac Giang city), Nguyen Thi Viet Chinh, a second year student at Hanoi Culture University lives together with her grandparent and mentally ill mother. The old grandmother must do several hire work to earn the living.
To support the needy student, the Fund made the profile and linked to Rice Association (French) to provide her a scholarship. For over four years, Chinh has received the support amount from the French God parent for her study expense.
“Thank to the encouragement, I have chance to further study. I will try my best to well study then find a good job to support my dear family. I wish to meet the god parent to express my sincere thank for their kind heart,” Chinh shared.
Wholeheartedly love sharing
Linh, Trang, Thuong and Viet Chinh are among hundreds of needy students in Bac Giang province have been provided with scholarships from Rice Association, Asian Hope Association or Vitam Association (French) and other humanitarian organization. The French kind hearted people annually present scholarship of nearly 400 million VND (17,300 USD).
Rice and Vitam Associations are the organization attaching to the provincial humanitarian activities for nearly 20 years. The Fund only connects the kind-hearted people and the needy children with the hope to bring the scholarship to party help them prolong their study. Apart from the accompany of the organization, the officers and staff at the Fund greatly contribute to support the cases via reviewing the circumstances, connecting and managing the scholarship to proper address.
Though the complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic has caused severe impact on the global economy in 2020, the French god parents regularly transfer the scholarships to the Fund to support the poor students which help them pay for the cost of living and study.
As of July 2020, Rice Association, Vitam Association,Vietnam Association for Protection of Agent Orange Children Victim ...presented more than 100 scholarships totally worth nearly 300 million VND (13,000 USD) and dozens of bicycles to the local students.
