As the Government’s regulation, all enterprises, economic organizations, household businesses and individuals in 57 centrally-run provinces and cities including Bac Giang province started to use e-invoice instead of paper one from April 1, 2022. It is compulsory from July 1 this year.

Implementing the regulation, as of June 30, 7,557 operating businesses and organizations and 968 business households switched to use e-invoice, accounting for 100 percent of compulsory cases.

The localities with the most users of e-invoice included Viet Yen, Hiep Hoa, Lang Giang, Luc Nam, Yen Dung districts and Bac Giang city.

In the future, the Taxation Department continues directing the functional agencies, Taxation Sub-Department in the districts and city to review and instruct newly established companies to use e-invoice as regulation.

Bac Giang to apply e-invoice for tax payers since April 1

(BGO) - Under the direction of the Government and Ministry of Finance on applying electronic invoice (e-invoice) for enterprises, economic organizations, household businesses and individuals in 57centrally-run provinces and cities from April this year, the taxation department of Bac Giang province is paying attention to implementation of this task.

Vietnam rolls out electronic invoices

The General Department of Taxation on November 21 started to issue electronic invoices (or e-invoices) in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Phu Tho, and Binh Dinh.

Electronic invoice deployment centres put into operation

The General Department of Taxation has opened a series of electronic invoice deployment centres, located at its headquarters and the taxation departments in six localities.
