Con Son Island, the largest island of Con Dao Archipelago, in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, southern Vietnam.

Under the agreement, a 30-second video featuring the beauty of Ba Ria-Vung Tau will be screened on the television channel for the Asia-Pacific region at intervals during peak hours from 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The broadcast will last two months from April 8 to June 2 for a total 150 spots to promote the beach province as a dynamic destination with blue seas, white sand and golden sunshine.

Ba Ria-Vung Tau is home to Vung Tau, a famous beach town typically crowded with throngs of weekend and national holiday tourists. Pristine Con Dao Islands, Vietnam's 16-island archipelago, have been many times praised by international media.

BBC Global News is one of the world's leading media channels with more than 450 million viewers in more than 200 countries and territories.

Last year, authorities in central tourism hotspot Da Nang City also signed a $100,000 tourism ad deal with Global Book Corporation to promote its image on BBC World News.
