Going to the construction site of Ha Bac 2 bridge across the Cau River in Phu Tai village, Tien Son commune (Viet Yen district), from afar, we saw drilling rigs and cranes with "arms" reaching up to the sky. All groups of workers enter a race against time.

The Civil Engineering Construction Joint Stock Company 873 mobilizes maximum human resources and construction equipment for construction of Ha Bac 2 bridge.

The project to build Ha Bac 2 road and bridge, connecting branch route 02 of Ring Road 4 with Yen Phong Industrial Park and National Highway 18 (Bac Ninh province), was approved by the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee in Decision 1033 dated May 31, 2021. The project includes a 1.4 km-long road in Bac Giang province, a 499.2 m-long bridge and a 101.4 m-long road in Bac Ninh province.

Right after the commencement (November 2021), the Civil Engineering Construction Joint Stock Company 873 (Hanoi) has mobilized maximum human resources and construction equipment to ensure the progress of the work.

In Duong Duc commune (Lang Giang district) - where the construction of a bridge over the Thuong River connecting with Lien Chung commune (Tan Yen district) is being accelerated to get the bridge linked on April 30, all local people are happy because the bridge is gradually shaping.

The bridge over the Thuong River forms part of an investment project to build the road connecting National Highway 37 - National Highway 17 with Provincial Road 292 (Viet Yen - Tan Yen - Lang Giang section) constructed by Tan Thinh Construction Co., Ltd. Starting in September 2021, the work is scheduled to be completed in May 2023. Recently, the construction unit has made efforts to soon put the project into use.

Soon putting projects into operation

According to the provincial Transport and Agriculture Projects Management Board, over the past time, the unit has started construction of a series of bridges. In addition to the above two works, there are Hoa Son bridge (Hiep Hoa district) connecting with Thai Nguyen province, and Soi River bridge (Yen The district). The province is also expanding Hung Vuong overpass (Bac Giang city), and preparing to start construction of Dong Viet bridge (Yen Dung district), Nhu Nguyet bridge (Viet Yen district), Dong Son bridge (Bac Giang city), bridges and roads leading to My An port (Luc Ngan district).

The above works are of great significance, not only reducing travel time but also creating spaces and driving forces for local socio-economic development. Therefore, during the inspection trips and working sessions with the investors, the provincial leaders all requested the stakeholders to focus on implementation to shorten the construction time and put the projects into use soon.

Hoang The Hung, Deputy Director of the provincial Transport and Agriculture Projects Management Board, said “In order to ensure the progress, we have closely coordinated with the localities in counting assets on land and paying compensation for site clearance. Difficulties and obstacles in the process of project implementation have been promptly solved”.

With the efforts of many sides, the construction progress of the projects has not only been ensured but also exceeded the set plan. Contractors are committed to completing the works ahead of schedule.

Efforts made to complete bridge across Thuong River six months ahead of schedule

(BGO) - Thanks to the moblisation of means and human resources, the construction progress of a bridge over the Thuong River - section connecting Lien Chung commune (Tan Yen district) and Duong Duc commune (Lang Giang district) is expected to be completed six months ahead of schedule.
