As of June 20, 2024, the whole province received more than 38 billion VND (1.6 million USD) for the Programme via the "For the Poor" fund at all levels.

Concluding the meeting, the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thu Hong emphasized that the above mentioned programme is one of key tasks of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board in 2024.

Recently, the Programme has been implemented methodically in the province. To obtain more effectiveness and achieve the set goals, she requested leaders of relevant departments, sectors and units to closely follow Plan 38, dated February 26, 2024 of Steering Committee 714 during implementation.

Sectors and Steering Committee members were ordered to review documents to firmly grasp the assigned tasks while strengthening inspection and guidance to localities on application processes and procedures according to regulations. The inspection and supervision process must clearly define the leaders’ roles and responsibilities of the party committees and local authorities.

At the same time, the provincial leader requested localities to regularly publicize the fund, speed up to build and repair houses for poor, near-poor households and people with meritorious services,further strengthen social mobilization and mobilize community participation to support the task.

Also, the localities should timely praise and acknowledge the contributions and help of businesses, organizations and individuals.
