The planning area is located in the North of the route linking national road No.17 to provincial road No.293 in Tien Phong and Dong Son communes.

It borders to agriculture field in Dong Son commune to the North, agriculture field in Tien Phong commune to the South, extended national road No.37 to the East, residential area in Quyet Tien and Thanh Cong villages in Tien Phong commune to the West.

The project covers about 93.8ha with estimated population of 12,000 – 15,000 people.

It is a new Urban area with public service and housing buildings. Some basic criteria about land use and technical infrastructure of the planning area are in line with first grade urban standard and approved general plan of Bac Giang city.

The items for investment and construction included houses, social, trade and service buildings, park, entertainment facilities, road, power and water supply among others.
