Accompanying the businesses

Thanks to the BCSC’s devoted consultation, the BMV Pharmaceutical Company in Tan Dinh commune (Lang Giang district) has completed the business change procedure.

Previously, it was Dai Nghiep company which was specialised at roofing production. In early 2019, the company changed to produce the medicine and renamed as BMV Pharmaceutical Company.

During the procedure, the company was not approved by the State agency due to the obstacle in the legal and land leasing formalities. The company leader asked for consultation in many places without a proper solution, hence it received the announcement of land reclamation in October 2019.

Vice Director Nguyen Trung Kien said: “We were confused among the difficulties then knew about the provincial BCSC. At the center, the staff instructed us the specific way to handle the issue. Now, BMV Pharmaceutical Company solved all the difficulties and run normal operation”.

Recently, Ngan Hong Lime Processing Cooperative (Yen The district), Quoc An Concrete Company (Viet Yen district) and Long Ha Tobacco Company (Bac Giang city) among others have been supported by the provincial BCSC to complete the procedure of investment, change the plan of production project after years of obstacles without any final solution.

Improving qualification of consultant

Currently, Bac Giang province has over 1,000 newly established businesses every year. Due to the lack of operating skill, many enterprises, especially small and medium ones encountered several difficulties in investment procedure, capital, market, human resources ...which cannot be solved by the provincial Center of Investment Promotion and Business Development (under the Department of Planning and Investment).

From the above fact, the provincial Business Association set up the BCSC. After 5 months of operation, the BCSC receives and handles about 50 documents on a monthly basis. Also, the Center instructs and guides hundreds of people about the investment and business issues for free.

To effectively conduct the tasks, the BCSC arranges the in charge officers and staff with rich consulting and working experiences in such fields. Meanwhile, the Center provides the services on business establishment, business restructure, business expansion and other services relating to business operation, project execution among others.

According to the Director of BCSC Dr.Phung Van Minh, apart from the advantages of due attention from the departments, sectors and agencies, the Center faces to several difficulties because most of the staff at the BCSC are concurrently having some responsibilities or some are not trained professionally.

Sometimes, the center cannot ensure the time of receiving document and sending its result as regulation due to the insufficient coordination from other relevant agencies while some administrative procedures have obstacle of handling time.

In the upcoming time, the BCSC will focus on training the profession to the officers, select and employ more human resources with actual experience and qualification to improve the effectiveness of business consultation to enhance the operational efficiency.

Additionally, the Center will reinforce the level of information technology and foreign language to the officers and staff to provide online consultation and draw foreign direct investment projects.

The BCSC also proposed to the local authority to further complete the policy and mechanism to improve the provincial business and investment environment toward synchronous and long term stability.
