The Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC), Chairman of the provincial Business Association (PBA) Duong Van Thai shared some issues relating to the programme and contribution of the enterprises in the provincial socio-economic growth.

As the Chairman of the PPC and PBA, what is your assessment about the Business Coffee Programme?

The PBA hold quarterly Business Coffee Programme which eases the enterprises express their opinion to the authority, create an open and friendly environment between the business and authority.

At the event, the provincial leaders directly listen to the proposal to give the instruction, helping reinforce the firms’ belief on the local government.

What is your instruction to solve the businesses’ proposals at the Business Coffee Programme as the PPC Chairman?

Regarding the businesses’ opinions at the event, some were specific, others opened the orientation for the province which are highly appreciated. The provincial leader will summarize and instruct the competent agencies to solve the issues in charge.

However, some raised macroscopic proposals which would be put under further research by the local government so as to issue the policy and mechanism to boost up the enterprise development in particular and provincial socio-economic growth in general.

All the businesses’ proposals at the Business Coffee Programme and their reflection via letters and petitions are paid due attention by the PPC to handle the issues in a soonest time as the most serious manner to create the conditions to the enterprise development.

What are the effects of the provincial motto of accompanying the enterprises, actively improving the business and investment environment to the 2019 socio – economic growth?

The serious synchronous policy issued by the PPC with focal point to pay special attention to facilitate the firms and people in handling the administrative procedure has helped create good investment environment, hence Bac Giang province always tops the country in investment attraction.

The business community plays a crucial role in accelerating the provincial socio-economic growth.

Besides, the province creates the most favourable condition for the businesses to develop and expand the business and production in the province. Thus, they have greatly contributed to the provincial development, especially the economic growth.

Adding to accelerate the economy, the enterprises also create jobs to the local laborers to partly reduce the poverty and eliminate the hunger. With such role, I believed that facilitating the business is to boost up the local socio-economic development.

2019 is the second year Bac Giang province has hit over 16 percent economic growth. In your opinion, what are the key factors to build that success?

Many factors contributed to the impressive economic growth rate of 16.2 percent such as the macroscopic one, provincial policies and guidelines to accelerate directly 3 fields of industry, agriculture and service, in which industry is the most important as the driving force to boost the development with the ratio of 94 percent.
