Bac Giang city urged to develop synchronously, modernly with vision and highlight
BAC GIANG- Nguyen Van Gau, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee worked with the Standing Board of the municipal Party Committee of Bac Giang city on July 24.
The meeting was also attended by Le Anh Duong, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee (PPC) and members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board including Tong Ngoc Bac, Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Organizing Board and Vu Tri Hai, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee and Chairman of the municipal People’s Council.

After 4 years implementing the Resolution of Bac Giang city’s Party Congress for the tenure 2020-2025, the municipal Party Committee has directed the city to reach and surpass 18/18 targets set out at the Resolution.
Particularly, the city completed the scheme on merging the administrative boundaries of Yen Dung district with Bac Giang city and merging communal-level administrative units to establish the wards of Bac Giang city and the scheme on recognizing Bac Giang as a second- tier city.
Speaking at the meeting, PPC Chairman Le Anh Duong highly evaluated the solidarity and efforts of Bac Giang in implementing the tasks and duties so far. The city’s implementation of the targets and key tasks met the schedule.

He urged the city to pay attention to surmounting the shortcomings in coming time and highly concentrating on implementing the scheme on administrative unit rearrangement.
The municipal authority was directed to soon study and realize the vision on modern green and smart city together with seeking solutions for service development.
The provincial leader also requested the city to actively prepare for the all-level party congress for the 2025-2030 tenure and focus on building strategic vision for expansion of Bac Giang city. It is necessary to identify the infrastructure and traffic framework to strongly connect Yen Dung district with current Bac Giang city.
Concluding the meeting, the provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Van Gau highly spoke on the reports and preparation of Bac Giang city for the meeting.
He directed the municipal Party Committee’s Standing Board to grasp the opinions of the departments and agencies, especially the opinions of the PPC Chairman to direct implementation of the assigned tasks in the final months of the year and other key tasks.
In coming time, the municipal Party Committee’s Standing Board was ordered to closely follow up the guidelines and policies of the Central and the province to specify and flexibly and creatively apply them in the city, thereby promoting its internal force as well as exploiting its potentials and resources to fulfill the tenure targets right in 2024.

The city should foster investment attraction and service development, specify the plannings for synchronous and modern urban development with a vision and highlight.
The provincial Party Chief urged the city to make plan on arranging the apparatus stably after merging the administrative units. In addition, it needs to strengthen management in the fields of natural resources, environment, urban order and construction as well as boosting administrative reform and improving investment climate.
Bac Giang city should promote the sense of solidarity, dynamism, creativity and responsibility and strive to surpass the targets set out at the resolution of the municipal Party Congress for the 2020-2025 tenure.

Digitalization of household registration books and setting up electronic database contribute to improving quality and facilitating citizens in dealing with administrative procedures.
