Bac Giang creates unique features to attract visitors
To exploit the local potential and advantages, in recent years, the province has focused on building and implementing tourism development plans from current to medium and long term, gradually turning tourism into an important economic sector.

According to Do Tuan Khoa, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DoCST), the province has planned 4 zones with 18 tourist destinations, including 1 provincial-level tourist zone.
Currently, the province has licensed 28 travel businesses, including 8 international travel agencies. For the past two years, the province has attracted about 3 million tourist arrivals with total tourism revenue of nearly 1,480 billion VND (62.8 million USD). The sector helped create jobs for thousands of labourers.
Tapping the available potential, in addition to accelerate propaganda and promotion, Bac Giang has focused on linking with major provinces and cities to attract tourists.
Located near the capital Hanoi and major cities, the province orients to attract investors to open large projects in the districts of Yen Dung, Luc Nam and Viet Yen township so as to gradually form and introduce sport and recreation tourism products.
The province also boasts a large fruit growing area, which is the foundation for developing eco-tourism, creating more jobs and income for farmers, helping build a new green, clean, beautiful and civilized countryside.
Visitors to Bac Giang can admire many communal houses, pagodas, temples and shrines marking the glorious victories of the ancestors in the fight against foreign invaders to protect the territory.

Apart from major festivals such as Yen The festival, Xuong Giang festival, Tho Ha festival... , there are hundreds of festivals in local villages. This is also a spiritual cultural tourism product that is loved by tourists.
On year end and spring occasion, going and experiencing rural market is also a unique cultural feature.
In recent years, inter-provincial, inter-district and inter-regional transportation systems have been much improved. The movement to build new style rural areas has connected and upgraded inter-village and inter-commune roads connecting with provincial roads and national highways to facilitate trade and travel. This is the premise for tourism development. The province also gradually links the transportation system with coastal provinces, cities and the capital Hanoi.
