(BGO) - The
Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee has issued document to
order the departments, sectors, agencies and localities to enhance management
of growing area codes and package facility for farm produce.
Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development enhances to communicate, popularize and provide training courses about current state regulations on standard, quality of agricultural materials which are allowed for production and business as well as the method to distinguish from fake and low quality products.

The orange growing area in Tan Moc commune (Luc Ngan district) is granted with growing area code to export to China.

All legal regulations relating to growing area code will be popularized. The package facilities are requested to correctly follow legal rules and requirement of imported countries.
The Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Market Management enhance trade promotion activities to timely support farmers in selling and exporting farm produce, inspecting the package facilities to timely detect and strictly handle the trade violation activities in managing and using growing area code and package facility code.
The People’s Committee in the districts and city cooperate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to accelerate communication and propaganda of current State regulations on standards and quality of agricultural materials…to ease the users in selecting qualified materials.

Luc Ngan gets ready to welcome visitors to orange and pomelo season
(BGO) – Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province)
has actively implemented various solutions to quickly introduce experimental
tourism in orange and pomelo season to promote and effectively exploit the
potential and advantages of ecological and experimental tourism at fruit
growing area together with unique cultural identities and fruit consumption.
Bac Giang actively works to sell oranges, grapefruits
(BGO) - There is
more than a month left for Bac Giang’s oranges and grapefruits to enter the
main harvest season. For the products to be sold smoothly, localities and relevant
agencies have coordinated to come up with plans to find consumption markets for
the fruits, helping local farmers to sell them conveniently.
Building traceability system for Luc Ngan oranges
(BGO) - This
year, 10 orange-growing households in Dong Quyt village, Tan Moc commune (Luc
Ngan district, Bac Giang province) are supported to implement a model of
growing oranges up to VietGAP standards and build a traceability system.
Orange and pomelo output yields about 80,000 tonnes
(BGO) - According
to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, this year the citrus
fruit productivity (orange and pomelo) is estimated at 80,000 tonnes in Bac
Giang province that is equal to last year figure.
