Bac Giang focuses on budget collection increase and accelerates provincial planning schedule in 2021 – 2030
The leader of the Department of Planning and Investment (DoPI) delivered the report on the socio-economic situation in July and 7 months in 2020, stating that due to the impact of Covid-19 pandemic, the industrial production in the province has gained positive changes though it has yet to fully recover.

Apart from the achieved result, the participants at the meeting focused on clarifying the advantages and difficulties in implementing the task of socio-economic development. Some expressed that the farmers are increasing the pig raising scale and face high risk of disease infection when buying the pig without clear origin outside the province because currently there is lack of breeds with high price.
Others said the provincial planning schedule in the period 2021 – 2030 with the vision to 2050 is delayed with disqualified quality. In the field of environment, several districts of Tan Yen, Hiep Hoa and Yen Dung fail to well fulfil the task of waste collection. The overloaded trucks carrying material construction still travel on the dyke.
Colonel Nguyen Quoc Toan, Director of provincial Public Security (PPS) informed that the province has over 220km of dyke without sufficient load sign so it is difficult to handle the violation in some locations. In the upcoming time, the PPS will further order the Traffic Police to enhance the patrol, strictly control and handle any violated case.
At the same time, the PPS will collaborate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) to well implement the task of dyke protection while requesting the competent agencies to install camera to control the load of the vehicle passing the dyke to ease the violation detection and handling.
After listening the reports and discussion, PPC Chairman Duong Van Thai concluded the meeting. He urged the sectors and localities to thoroughly grasp and execute the Resolution issued by the provincial People’s Council at the recent 10th meeting, especially focusing on provincial planning task in the period 2021- 2030, with the vision to 2050.
The sectors, districts and city should synchronously implement the measures to improve the business environment, enhance the provincial competitiveness capability and strive to reduce 10 ranking against previous year.
The PPC Chairman assigned the provincial Working Group to directly support him to receive the information and timely handle any reflection and proposal from the business, investor to remove the obstacles arising in investment procedure, production and business in the province.

The DARD should focus on guiding the summer – autumn season cultivation to ensure the seasonal time, enhancing the disease prevention to the plant and animal, instructing the farmers to increase the animal scale together with bio-safety raising method while coordinating with the localities to protect the forest, prevent forest fire, ensure the safety for the dyke, damp, pond, lake and irrigation projects in rainy and flooding seasons.
Also the DARD continues supporting Yen Dung district to complete the criteria to reach the target of new rural style district by 2021.
The PPC Chairman pressed that the province now has 9 out of 16 low tax collection causing impact on the local budget collection result. Form now on till the end of this year, the provincial Taxation Department should actively assess, analyze and strictly supervise the current collection sources; definitely exploit new sources and capital loss; effectively manage the sources of collection such as property transfer, mineral source exploitation... while expediting to collect all arising tax amount and collectable balance...
