Bac Giang honors 128 outstanding blood donors
For recent years, the provincial VBDC has gained many positive results, exceeded the set target and topped the Northern mountainous provinces.

Since 2005, the Steering Committee at all levels have received over 220,000 blood units, built 34 blood donation clubs with more than 2,000 volunteers. The VBDC has been wide spread as an activity with deep humanity among people at all strata.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Red Cross Society Tran Quoc Hung and Permanent Vice Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee Mai Son also Head of the Steering Committee affirmed on the importance of the campaign and urged the Red Cross Society to further consult the provincial People’s Committee to direct all levels, sectors, localities and people about the campaign and launch events to meet and exceed the target at VBD festivals in the year.
The Steering Committee at all levels should accelerate the communication; enhance community awareness about donating blood to save life; pay attention to complimentary work to wide spread the movement.

The leaders expected the honored outstanding organizations, families and individuals will continue acting as the core to develop the VBDC among the community, helping save the patients’life.
At the event, 128 organizations, families and individuals representing 489 outstanding organizations, families and individuals in 2022 were honored.
