Bac Giang implements credit policies to support enterprises, cooperatives, citizens
Accordingly, the provincial Chairman requested the State Bank of Vietnam in Bac Giang province to strictly implement the Directive No 02/CT-NHNN dated 31 March 2020 by Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) on urgent solutions of the banking sector to combat and surmount difficulties caused by Covid-19 pandemic.

SBV in Bac Giang is required to direct commercial banks and credit organizations in the province to strictly implement Circular No 01/2020/TT-NHNN dated 13 March 2020 of SBV on debt restructuring, interest deduction and removing difficulties for customers affected by Covid-19.

To collaborate with related departments, sectors and localities to grasp situation, analyse and assess the extent of influence of the pandemic on the economic and banking sectors while advising the PPC Chairman to direct effective surmounting difficulties of production and business activities especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, business households, circulation of essential goods and prioritized sectors.
It is urged to guide the commercial banks and credit organizations in the province to implement credit and payment solutions to remove obstacles for customers.
Regarding enterprises and cooperatives heavily influenced, SBV in Bac Giang shall collaborate with related agencies and units to work with branches of the commercial banks and credit organizations to seek solutions for surmounting enterprises’ difficulties.
It is required to work with press agencies to popularize the credit policies and supporting solutions of the banking sector for customers affected by Covid-19 pandemic.
Besides, the provincial Chairman urged the departments of Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, Construction, Transportation and related agencies to grasp situation, analyse and assess the extent of influence and damage by Covid-19 to production and business activities under their state management to seek remedies.
They were also required to provide information about difficulties in borrowing and payment for SBV in Bac Giang province to promptly advise the provincial Chairman solutions for handling.
People’s Committee of the districts and city need to be aware of the extent of the damage and proactively implement measures to support enterprises, cooperatives and local people to overcome difficulties in production and business.
It is necessary direct competent divisions and agencies of the districts and city to closely collaborate with the commercial banks in the localities to well fulfill the credit and payment policies to support customers to remedy difficulties due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The provincial Cooperative Alliance and Business Association should work with SBV, commercial banks and credit organizations in the province to better advocacy for enterprises and cooperatives to understand the credit and payment supporting policies amid Covid-19 outbreak.
It is essential to grasp, revise and recommend the banking sector and competent agencies measures to help enterprises and cooperatives surmount difficulties.
