To facilitate the enterprises and tradesmen to seek information about lychee order in the province as well as well implement the promotion plan for lychee consumption in 2020, PPC Chairman assigned the Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) to collaborate with the Department of Information and Communication to research and propose to build an online page about lychee consumption promotion on the Portal of the province and DoIT.

Bac Giang implements various measures to boost lychee consumption in 2020.

The task should be reported to the PPC Chairman before May 8, 2020.

The department should cooperate with the provincial Public Security and the People’s Committees in the districts of Tan Yen, Son Dong, Luc Ngan and Luc Nam to base on Government and province’s regulations about Covid-19 prevention and Control and the expected harvest time for 2020 lychee season so as to review and list the enterprises and tradesmen coming to the province from China and other countries to seek infomation and buy lychee.

Besides, the department should further consult the provincial People’s Committee to report and ask for the Prime Minister’s guideline to ease the immigration to the province.

Bac Giang estimates to harvest 45,000 tonnes of early ripen lychee

(BGO) – Bac Giang province grows more than 6,000 ha of early ripen lychee in the districts of Tan Yen, Yen The, Luc Ngan and Luc Nam. The favourable weather this year resulted in high flowering and fruit bearing rate, hence the province is expecting for a bumper harvest.
