BAC GIANG - Quang Ninh Spring OCOP Fair 2024 takes place from February 1 to 6 (lunar
December 22 to 27) in Ha Long City (Quang Ninh province), attracting more than
200 booths to promote and introduce signature products of provinces and cities
nationwide.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Bac Giang province, the Division of Rural Development and some production facilities participate in the event and introduce 31 agricultural products with potential and strengths, such as Hien Phuoc five-color rice noodles; Luc Ngan dried lychee; flower buds of Danh mountain ginseng; sticky rice wine from Van village yellow flowers and Adenco cordyceps among others.

Bac Giang's products attract many customers, especially those serving the upcoming Lunar New Year. Some products like Luc Ngan oranges and grapefruits are sold out.
The fair is an opportunity for Bac Giang province to introduce the potential and strengths of agricultural products and typical OCOP products, hence helping businesses and cooperatives connect supply and demand, expand product consumption markets and promote the development of production and business activities.

Bac Giang improves quality of OCOP products
Bac Giang - Currently, Bac Giang province has 857 operating cooperatives, including 665 agricultural cooperatives (accounting for 65.5 percent). The agricultural cooperatives are shifting towards diversifying the fields and services, producing clean products under the chain and linkage with businesses to consume products.

agencies and localities in Bac Giang province have paid due attention to supporting
entities with OCOP (One Commune One Product programme) products to participate
in events, helping display, promote the goods toward trade exchange.
Through trade
promotion fairs and conferences, many entities find new partners to link
production and consumption.
Keeping "stars" for OCOP products
After
five years of implementing the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Programme, Bac
Giang now has 253 starred products, among the top localities with many
recognized products. However, for many reasons, some owners do not care about
keeping and upgrading their products.
