Bac Giang invests in infrastructure, enhances officers’s capability to gradually realize Electronic Government
Thanks to the due attention from the provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee, all tasks relating to E-government implementation and digital transformation basically met the requirement.

The Local Government Service Platform (LGSP) in the province was invested to initially integrate the shared services of the ministries and sectors. The shared software systems were invested, upgraded suitably to the guidance from the Government and actual demand in the province.
The Department of Information and Communication (DoIC) effectively operated the provincial Center of Data Integration to serve the usage of all levels and sectors. Meanwhile, the provincial Public Administrative Center remained stable operation to help solve the administrative services for organization and citizen.

However, the E-government implementation was done with many shortcomings in the province; some officers and people had few knowledge of digital transformation while information technology infrastructure was not synchronous....
Concluding the event, Mai Son expressed that in the upcoming time the DoIC should promptly complete the draft Resolution on Digital Transformation in Bac Giang province in the period 2021 – 2025 with the orientation to 2030 to submit to the provincial Board of Party Officers before April 20, 2021, to PPC’s Standing Committee in May.
At the same time, the DoIC was urged to further operate, upgrade and complete the provincial Portal, One-Stop Shop as well as provide 100 percent of satisfied public services to online level 4.
The Departments of Health, Education and Training with big databases should keep regular coordination to DoIC to upgrade the management software, orderly implement online teaching and studying activities, remain the management software of public e-record at the localities.

The departments, agencies, sectors and localities should enhance responsibilities to effectively control and use the information technology equipment and communication channel; propose proper purchase to ensure the capacity to meet the requirement and professional tasks; enhance the communication and instruction about implementation and receipt of online public service at level 3 and 4 at the provincial Public Portal and One-Stop Shop to organization, enterprises and citizens so as to raise the serving quality.
They were encouraged to actively collaborate to the DoIC to train the officers in charge of information technology to ensure the capability, qualification to realize E-government and digital transformation.
