Bac Giang prepares nearly 94,400 accommodations for workers

(BGO) – To facilitate businesses in arranging centralized accommodation for workers at the industrial parks in the northern province of Bac Giang, the provincial Working Group has reviewed 2,626 boarding houses in Viet Yen district.

These boarding houses have 47,186 rooms which can provide accommodation for nearly 94,400 labourers in the enterprises. Basing on the verification result for safety condition of disease prevention and control, the provincial Industrial Park Management Board introduced to 7 firms with room renting demand for nearly 13,000 people.

In line with the provincial instruction, to ensure the safety in disease prevention and control, the enterprises must hire boarding house for workers to stay at one area without any one from other company to ease the zoning off, tracing tasks as well as restrict the infection in case of any patient detected.

In the upcoming days, the provincial Working Group will continue reviewing, verifying the qualified boarding houses in Nenh town to introduce to more firms.

To date, nearly 90,000 workers have come back work at Quang Chau, Van Trung, Dinh Tram and Song Khe – Noi Hoang industrial parks, accounting for over 50 percent of the total labourers before the industrial parks suspended.

Bac Giang pays attention to solving housing problems for workers

Nearly 56,000 workers come back to work at industrial park
(BGO) – After about one month implementation of the Plan No.213 issued by the People’s Committee in Bac Giang province (PPC) about re-organizing the production for businesses at the industrial park (IP), to date, 247 enterprises in the province qualified with the Covid-19 safety condition and preventive measure have been allowed to resume operation. 
Arranging accommodation for nearly 18,400 workers
(BGO) – Since June 21, the Industrial Park Management Board (IPMB) in Bac Giang province has coordinated with the districts and city to make a list of boarding houses, motels, hotels and functional transformation schools to introduce to enterprises for their rental purpose.  
Accompanying workers to overcome difficulties
(BGO) - The Covid-19 outbreak in Bac Giang province has attacked businesses in industrial parks (IZs), affecting workers' health, employment and income. Promoting the role of protecting and taking care of members, trade unions at all levels in the province have gathered all resources to promptly support tens of thousands of workers to overcome difficulties.
