The complicated development of Covid-19 pandemic in adjacent Hai Duong province also causes high risk of infection to Bac Giang. At the same time, the potential dangers lie in returnees from the disease hit localities such as Bac Giang’s labourers in foreign countries and freelance workers from China, foreign experts, managers, technicians coming to work at local enterprises.

Concluding the meeting, PPC Vice Chairman Le Anh Duong pressed on the complicated development of the pandemic, thus the sectors and authority at all levels must stay highly alert for the sudden risk of infection. Though the disease spot in Son Dong district is basically controlled, it is hard to control the people returning from the epicenters, especially Hai Duong and Hanoi.

Seriously taking experiences from Da Nang, Quang Nam, Hai Duong and Hanoi, all levels, sectors, districts and city were urged to strictly control the risk to avoid the infection at the medical facilities while the hospitals and medical centers at district level started testing for patients with respiratory diseases, even without any epidemic factor.

The wedding should be restricted while funeral should be held at small and quick scale. Any crowded should be avoided.

The districts and city must launch peak period to inspect the disease prevention at the restaurants, canteens and sellers as well as strictly punish any facility whose staff do not wear face mask when communicating to customers.

All parties should accelerate to review and control over the source of infection to prevent the pandemic spread to the local area; timely detect the illegal immigrants; enhance to manage, monitor, supervise the residential areas, especially foreign experts and labourers who completed concentrated medical isolation to work at the local enterprises.
