(BGO)- With the theme “Digital Transformation for Tourism in
Vietnam”, Vietnam International Tourism Mart 2020 (VITM) takes place in
Hanoi Cultural Friendship Palace. This event is organized by Vietnam Ministry
of Culture, Sports and Tourism attracting more than 300 participants from
enterprises, tourism promotion agencies of 50 provinces and cities nationwide
and 6 countries and territories.
At this fair, the companies were provided an area to introduce modern technologies and their application in tourism management and business. Besides, the technology firms will provide free training in digital technology to tour operators.

Bac Giang province attends the event with 1 booth to display the brochures and flyers promoting its land, people and popular tourist destinations. Specially, 2 clean products including Kim Ngan fruit vinegar, an organic vinegar product made from delicious fruits of Luc Ngan and Ankly Xanh Chu noodle made from clean rice and many types of nutritious organic vegetable and fruits are introduced at this fair.
The Vietnam International Tourism Mart is a good opportunity for tourism promotion and stimulation while helping enterprises to have new approach to digital transformation to overcome difficulties amid complicated developments of Covid-19 pandemic worldwide. This is also a place for the companies to exchange, encourage each other to overcome difficulties and promote sense of solidarity for success.
The fair will last until 21 November 2020.

First fairy tale books on gender equality launched for Vietnamese children
The first modern fairy tale picture books on gender equality for Vietnamese children were launched by UN Women, ChildFund Vietnam and Crabit Kidbooks on October 20, aimed at aimed eliminating harmful gender stereotypes and gender norms existing in fairy tales that hinder the comprehensive development of children.

visit to inspect the implementation of the project “Samsung Hope School” at
Hiep Hoa district sponsored by Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI) and Samsung
Electronics Vietnam Company.

activities to promote Bac Giang tourism, the provincial Department of Foreign
Affairs (DOFA) has boosted external activities through the meetings with
foreign delegations, external cultural events and website, thereby contributing
to bringing Bac Giang’s image closer to international friends and tourists.
