Bac Giang promotes greener and more sustainable growth model

Speaking here, PPC Vice Chairman Phan The Tuan said with the great openness of the economy, Bac Giang province is interested in international integration policies, exploitation of the strengths and potential of free trade agreements which Vietnam is a member.
Bac Giang province attaches importance to attract investment, develop commodity export markets, green energy and renewable energy.
In October 2022, the provincial People's Committee issued the Green Growth Action Plan for the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2030, targeting to have renewable energy sources reaching 2.5 – 3 percent of total primary energy supply. Meanwhile, the province focuses all investment resources for green growth, improves the efficiency to use energy and renewable energy for green growth and sustainable growth.
“Through this talk show, Bac Giang province hopes experts and delegates will share experiences and suggest practical solutions for the locality to overcome challenges, promptly grasp new trends and build development policies that suit to new world trends," said Phan The Tuan.
By grasping the actual local situation, FM Assistant Minister Nguyen Minh Hang highly appreciated the achievements in socio-economic development in Bac Giang.

New standards in international trade and investment are gradually shaped in associated with the criteria of carbon emission reduction, sustainable development, labor, environment...

The Northern region includes the Red River Delta, the Northern midlands and mountainous regions have special important strategic position in terms of socio-economy, ecological environment, national defense, security and foreign affairs of the country.
At the event, some delegates also suggested solutions to improve the competitiveness of products in the European market, answer the difficulties in the procedures for traceability of raw materials in the export of goods as well as access to investment capital for green production; incentives for businesses when investing in Bac Giang...
They helped managers and businesses grasp more specifically the new shifting trends of the global economy, open up cooperative opportunities with partners in the European Union and create driving force for development in the future.
