The provincial Rehabilitation Hospital provides health check and rehabilitation services for post-Covid patients with health insurance card. According to Doctor Duong Thi Da Ngan, Head of the Department of Medical Examination of the Hospital, the treatment without new medicine which combines physical therapy, rehabilitation and traditional medicine such as massage, acupuncture, using paraffin, exercises and endovenous laser treatment or hyperbaric oxygen therapy on blood vessel to help the patients to gradually recover their health condition. Currently, 30 patients are under treatment at the hospital including 15 year-old cases.

Besides, the provincial General Hospital will open the consultancy service for post-Covid-19 patients since March 14. The consultancy office will be open for free from 8h30 to 11h30 on every Tuesday and Thursday and from 13h30 to 16h00 on working days. In addition to direct support, patients can call the hotline 19000232 for consultancy.

According to the doctors of the provincial General Hospital and Rehabilitation Hospital, post-Covid 19 symptoms are rather popular which may disappear when patients take good rest, light exercises suitable with their physical strength, have good diet and balanced nutrition.

However, people should pay attention to their health to timely detect and treat initial symptoms to prevent dangerous side effects such as stroke, encephalitis, movement disability and functional disorders (movement, aspiration and diarrhea). 

Thus, when patients under home care and treatment having symptoms like tiredness, sleep problem and ongoing nervous disorder, their family should rapidly contact the doctors and medical facilities and bring the patients for prompt medical check and intervention. The post-Covid-19 treatment period will last from 10 to 14 days and longer for the elderly and those with other diseases.
