Bac Giang provincial leader attends Global Overseas Vietnamese Economic Forum in Japan
On October 3, the delegation worked with the Vietnamese Consulate General in Fukuoka to discuss and consult on local-level international cooperation promotion programs with the Kyushu region in general and Miyazaki province in particular.

The provincial delegation was received by Consul General of Vietnam in Fukuoka Vu Chi Mai, representative of the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka, and the Bac Giang Compatriots Association in Osaka.
Consul General Vu Chi Mai briefed the delegates on the development situation, potential and strengths of the Kyushu economic region together with the fields of interest to Japanese businesses in Kyushu.
She highly appreciated the socio-economic development achievements of Bac Giang province in recent years and asked the province to actively introduce local strengths and potential in the event" the Second Global Overseas Vietnamese Economy, need for local level cooperation and promotion” to be held in Japan in the upcoming time.
Speaking at the meeting, PPC’s Permanent Deputy Secretary Le Thi Thu Hong provided general information about recent socio-economic development situation, the planning and development orientation of industrial parks and clusters in the coming time.
Also, she emphasized the existing clean land fund to welcome the investment wave in the province, orientation for human resource development cooperation between Bac Giang and foreign localities, technology transfer in producing, processing and preserving the agricultural products.
Sharing information about the Kyushu region, the representative of the Vietnamese Consulate General in Fukuoka said Kyushu is a famous region for farming and agricultural production technology, agricultural product processing with high productivity and quality. Japanese businesses often have small and medium scale but operate effectively with high social security policies.

Regarding the issue of training and supplying human resource, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Fukuoka, Principal of the Japanese Language School in Fukuoka Nguyen Duy Anh said with a high elderly population rate, Japan truly needs human resources from other countries. This is a good opportunity for Bac Giang province to develop the field of human resource supply.
He also introduced the educational cooperation programs with localities in the country, Japanese language training programs for international students, trainees and workers who want to work in Japan.
At the end of the meeting, Bac Giang provincial leader thanked the Consulate General of Vietnam in Fukuoka for supporting Bac Giang province to find opportunities to accelerate cooperative promotion activities at local level, promote the image, potential and strengths of the province to Japanese partners, connect overseas Vietnamese from Bac Giang in Japan to construct their homeland...
