Bac Giang provincial leaders visit and present gifts to national contributors serving Dien Bien Phu Campaign
BAC GIANG - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, on the morning of April 17, Le Thi Thu Hong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Bac Giang Provincial Party Committee (PPC), Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council visited and presented gifts to 2 veteran and former youth volunteer in Yen The district serving Dien Bien Phu Campaign.
They are officer Tran Van Mon (born 1935) in Mo Trang village (Tam Tien commune) and former volunteer Nguyen Van Dien (born 1929) in Chua village (Huong Vi commune).

After giving gifts each worth 2 million VND to the national contributors, the PPC Deputy Secretary Le Thi Thu Hong kindly asked after their health and life as well as expressed deep respect and gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of Dien Bien soldiers.
Yen The district has 54 former veterans, frontline workers and volunteers directly participating in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. To express gratitude for them, on this occasion, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee presented gift to veteran, former volunteer, and frontline worker, each worth 800 thousand VND.

At the same day, the provincial leader and delegates handed over the funds to support the removal of temporary houses for 5 poor households in the district, each worth 50 million VND which was sponsored by FUJI Development Joint Stock Company.
On the afternoon of April 17, Lam Thi Huong Thanh, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council visited and presented gifts to veterans and former volunteers directly serving Dien Bien Phu Campaign in Lang Giang and Luc Nam districts.
The delegation visited and gave gifts to veteran Nguyen Van Tuong (born 1927) in Dong Phu commune, former volunteer Vu Thi Dai (born 1931) in Doi Ngo town (Luc Nam district); veteran Tran Van Chuc (born 1932) in Huong Son commune, former volunteer Hoang Thi Van (born 1931) in Tan Hung commune (Lang Giang district).

On the morning of April 17, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province led by Nghiem Xuan Huong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council visited and presented gifts to two families of veteran Nguyen Van Them (born 1927) in Cau Dong 10 village, Ngoc Ly commune and former youth volunteer Nguyen Khac Tap (born 1934) in Dong Lai village, Song Van commune (Tan Yen district).
