According to the report, Bac Giang scored 69.75 out of 100-point scale and ranked 4 out of 63 provinces and cities after Quang Ninh province, Long An province and Hai Phong city. Bac Giang was among the top 30 provinces and cities with the best governance quality in 2023.

The PCI 2023 report was built based on feedback from 10,000 enterprises operating in 63 provinces and cities across the country.

The annual PCI assessment aims to help provinces and cities clearly identify current difficulties and challenges that businesses are facing, thereby making recommendations to create a more favorable business environment for the enterprises, gradually improve the quality of economic management of provinces and cities, boost up local socio-economic development.

Through analyzing 10 PCI component indicators, Bac Giang had the highest score in the legal institutions and security and order with 7.9 points as well as increased scores in several indicators like market entry (7.05 points), time costs (7.71 points), and business support policies (7.24 points).

In 2023, Bac Giang province continued focusing on directing and implementing many synchronous solutions to improve the investment and business environment; reform the administrative procedures; regularly hold dialogue and listen to feedback from people and businesses to promptly resolve problems...

On this occasion, VCCI President and USAID Director awarded Insignia to 10 provinces and cities with the best achievements in implementing PCI in 2023, including Bac Giang province.

BAC GIANG- According to the provincial Department of Home Affairs, the departments and agencies under the provincial People’s Committee and the districts and city are self-evaluating and scoring their Public Administration Reform Index (PAR Index) in 2023 on the software.

Bac Giang’s ICT index ranks fifth nationwide

BAC GIANG - The Ministry of Information and Communications and the Vietnam Information Technology Association have just announced the results of the 2022 ICT Index ranking (readiness index for Vietnam's application and development of information and communication technology). Bac Giang province achieved 0.5971 points, ranking 5th nationwide, up 24 places compared to 2020 (no evaluation or ranking was organized in 2021).
