The locals in Dai Lam commune (Lang Giang district) concrete the inner hamlet road.

Adding to the support from the State budget, these above mentioned communes excellently called for locals' consensus and contribution of some 25 – 30 billion VND (1.1 – 1.3 million USD) to complete 19 national criteria in each locality, many of which were qualified to and exceeded the regulated standard, reported the Coordination Office of New Style Rural Areas. 

Concretely, the annual average income reached 25 – 30 million VND (1,100 – 1,300 USD) per person, the rate of poor household reduced to 5-6 percent per commune, the rural road was basically concreted and expanded as well as the civil houses were in line with Ministry of Construction’s standard.

The newly recognized communes have created the innovations including the low rate of basic construction debt and the proof of repayment capability.

To date, Bac Giang province has recognized 14 new-style rural areas while other 5 registered communes target at the goal completion in December this year.
