Bac Giang recognizes Relic site of Camphor tree and Xuong Giang Victory Site
Accordingly, the Relic sites of Da Huong tree, communal house, temple and pagoda in Tien Luc commune (Lang Giang district) presented under the Reign of Le Canh Hung King (1740 - 1786).
The Relic sites feature Da Huong tree, Vien Son communal house, Phuc Quang pagoda, Thuan Hoa temple, Thanh Ca temple recognized by the former Ministry of Culture – Information (now Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) as national relic site on January 21, 1989.

The Xuong Giang Victory Relic Site is located in the Quan Thanh T-junction, Xuong Giang ward (Bac Giang city) and recognized by the Prime Minister as the Special National Relic Site in the Decision No 1954/QD-TTg on December 31, 2019. It was attached to Lam Son Uprising led by Le Loi to fight against the control of Minh invader.
Thus, the province now has more than 700 recognized historical relic sites, including more than 120 national and special national relics. In 2019, the provincial People’s Committee also granted recognition to 6 provincial tourism sites and areas.
The recognition not only helps the local authorities and people protect the traditional cultural values inherited from the ancestors but also acts as the base for the localities in the province to promote the cultural identities to make them closer to the tourists near and far.
