Bac Giang registers to monthly supply over 17,500 tonnes of food to Hanoi

(BGO) – Implementing the proposal from Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade about ensuring the source of necessity supply in response of local Covid-19 pandemic, 80 businesses, cooperatives alliances, food and farm product processing and producing facilities in Bac Giang province have registered to supply more than 17,500 tonnes of food to Hanoi every month.

Particularly, 25 businesses, cooperatives, alliances and producers in farming sector registered to supply 765 tonnes of veggies and roots per month; 22 alliances in fishery sector will supply more than 1,980 tonnes of fishes of all types per month; 27 businesses, cooperatives and farms in animal husbandry sector will supply 1.19 million chickens for meat (equal to 2,610 tonnes of meat), 14,200 tonnes of pork, 240,000 eggs...

Hai Thinh Company Limited in Bac Giang can supply 220 tonnes of pork per month to Hanoi city.

Besides, 8 rice noodle producers in Luc Ngan district and Bac Giang city registered to supply products to Hanoi in case they receive orders.

All these facilities are following VietGAP, GlobalGAP and organic productions, hence satisfying the safe and hygiene standard.
