(BGO) - The provincial Department of Labour, Invalids
and Social Affairs in northern province of Bac Giang has issued the
correspondence on checking and grasping situation of the labour and employment affected
by Covid-19 outbreak and quarantine of foreign workers suspected for Covid-19
infection.
Accordingly, the Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs urged the provincial Industrial Zones Authority to implement measures to grasp production and business situation and employment in the enterprises under its management.

The suspected cases are welcomed to isolate at the provincial Center of National Defence and Security Education.

Besides, this authority needs to guide the enterprises to resolve the issues related to entitlements of labourers in case of underemployment or unemployment in accordance with the law on employment.
Foreign workers in Vietnam who do not obey compulsory quarantine or leave the isolation areas without permission shall be revoked work permit as regulated by the law.
It is required to review, make statistics and update the situation of foreign workers in the industrial parks to impose quarantine measures on suspicion of Covid-19.
The provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs must be informed about the enterprises and business establishments affected by Covid-19 outbreak and situation of foreign workers in the industrial parks at the email address yennt_sldtbxh@bacgiang.gov.vn.
Many organizations, individuals in Bac Giang donate to fight Covid-19

Thi Ha Chau donated 500 million VND (21,560 USD) at the Headquarter of the
provincial Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province to support the fight
against Covid-19.
