Particularly, Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (Agribank), Bac Giang branch donated 250 million VND (10,652 USD) for the pandemic fight in which 150 million VND (6,391 USD) was donated to Bac Giang province and the rest was sent to the national Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control.

Tuan Mai Trade Joint Stock Company supported 100 million VND (4,260 USD). The provincial Radio and Television donated 10 million VND (426 USD) to the provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control.

Addressing the event, Tran Cong Thang expressed his thanks to the agencies and enterprises for joining hands with the province to fight the pandemic. The above-mentioned sum of money will be properly used for Covid-19 prevention and control. He hoped to continue receiving support from organizations, individuals and donors for Bac Giang province in the fight against the pandemic.

Public officials of the municipal Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee of Bac Giang city support more than 23 million VND (980 USD).

Especially, Le Nguyen Khoi, a student of class 10A1, Ngo Si Lien High School and his younger brother Le Dang Khoa, class 3A8, Ngo Si Lien primary school donated 10 million VND (426 USD) with their lucky money.

On the same day, nun Nguyen Tam, head of Hung Long pagoda in Gai village, Doi Ngo town, Luc Nam district presented fund to support Luc Nam district Fatherland Front Committee for Covid-19 fight.

Facing unseen developments of Covid-19 pandemic, the head of Hung Long pagoda called for donations from the Buddhism followers. As a result, the total mobilized fund of 50 million VND (2,130 USD) was presented to Luc Nam district to buy medical equipment and materials for the pandemic fight.
