Bac Giang’s athletes bag 3 gold medals at 2024 Southeast Asian Jujitsu Championships
BAC GIANG- According to the jujitsu coach of the provincial Center for sports training and competition of Bac Giang province, Bac Giang’s athletes won 7 medals at the 2024 Southeast Asian Jujitsu Championships as of July 7 after 3-day competitions.
The 2024 Southeast Asian Youth Jujitsu Championship took place from 5 to 8 July in Bali, Indonesia attracting 400 athletes from 8 countries.

Nearly 90 athletes and coaches of Vietnam national jujitsu team participated in this tournament. Particularly, coach Tran Vu Quang and 3 athletes including Dang Thi Huong, Chu Thi Trang and Chu Thi Huyen from Bac Giang provincial Center for sports training and competition attended the competitions.
As of 18.00 on July 7, Vietnam national jujitsu team bagged 52 gold medals, 54 silvers and 44 bronzes when Bac Giang’s athletes contributed to the national team with 3 golds, 2 silvers and 2 bronzes.
Remarkably, athlete Dang Thi Huong competed in 6 categories and excellently won 5 medals including 2 gold medals at the fighting and jujitsu women’s 44 kg events. Athlete Chu Thi Huyen won 1 gold medal at women’s 63 kg event and Chu Thi Trang bagged 1 silver medal at women’s 63 kg event.

BAC GIANG - After 4 days of dramatic competition, the 2024 National Shuttlecock Club Championship wrapped up on April 4. Bac Giang delegation won 3 Gold Medals, 2 Bronze Medals and secured second overall ranking.

BAC GIANG - Vietnamese athletes bagged three gold and two bronze medals at the Hong Kong Athletics Championship which took place from May 4-5 at the Tseung Kwan O Sports Ground, Hong Kong (China). The Bac Giang star runner Nguyen Thi Oanh won two golds in the women's 3,000m steeplechase and 5,000m events.
BAC GIANG – As of May 8, Bac Giang athlete Dang Thi Huong (born 2011) won 3 medals at Asian Jujitsu Championship 2024, reported the representative of the Bac Giang provincial Center for Sports Training and Competition.
