The Project is invested by Directorate for Roads of Vienam with total length of 39.1 km (the first point at the intersection with national road No.1 in Bac Giang city and the last point at intersection with provincial road No.290 in Luc Ngan district).

The route is invested in line with third grade delta road standard, two lanes for motor vehicles and design speed of 80 km/h. The road surface is 12 meter wide with 7-meter road bed and 2-meter pavement on both sides…

The project is constructed by consortium of 68 Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company, Ngoc Minh – UDIC Construction and Trading JSC and 208 JSC with total investment of 863.6 billion VND (37.1 million USD) from state budget in mid-term public investment plan in 2021 – 2025 period.

As schedule, it will be completed in 2024 to reduce the congestion and traffic accident as well as gradually complete the route as the planning to support the development of Bac Giang province and the region.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Duy Lam and PPC Vice Chairman Le O Pich affirmed on recent congestion and overload condition at national road No.31 passing Bac Giang province, especially Luc Nam and Luc Ngan district which posed high risk of traffic accident and caused impact on commuters, particularly in consuming local farm produce.

The contractors focus man power and machineries to construct the project.

Thus, the Ministry of Transport put the Project into the Mid-term investment plan of the Ministry in 2021-2025 period and ordered immediate construction in 2022.

The road construction met the long-time expectation of local people. The provincial PPC committed to quickly hand over the plane, direct the People’s Committees in the districts, communes and towns to join hands and prevent any obstacles from affecting the project execution progress.

The leaders recommended Directorate for Roads of Vienam, Project Management Board, Supervising Consultant and contractor to deploy highest responsibility, mobilize sufficient man power and machineries to accelerate the construction schedule while preventing any negative incident and closely cooperating with departments, sectors and local authority to timely handle any issue during the project implementation.

Over 3.4 million USD invested to expand frontage road for national road No.1 and Hung Vuong intersection
