Bac Giang strives to have 74 industrial clusters by 2050

28 ICs have operated to draw 186 investment projects with total registered capital of 32 trillion VND (1.38 billion USD) which create jobs to some 45,000 labours with average monthly income of 4.5 – 7.5 million VND (194 – 323 USD) per person.

As schedule, the province will continue establishing new ICs in the districts and city to increase the total number of ICs up to 74 in total area of 3,219 ha by 2050.
In the upcoming year, the priority will be given to ICs plan at the mountainous districts such as Yen The, Luc Ngan, Luc Nam and Son Dong to attract the investors to production and business to take advantages of the available materials and create job to local labours.
To develop the ICs, the provincial authority instructed the competent agencies to coordinate with the districts and city to review the land source, make the IC plan while proposing plan to build the synchronous technical infrastructure such as road, power and water systems.
The province also encourages and offers preferential policies to huge projects with modern technology in the field of supporting industries at the ICs while providing the utmost facilitation during land clearance after the project gets the investment license.
