Bac Giang to focus on implementing key tasks, solutions in 2023
After the Q&A session of the ninth meeting of the provincial People’s Council on December 8, Duong clarified the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in 2022 as well as objectives and main solutions for 2023.

He said that besides the achieved results, the province's 2022 socio-economic situation still faces many difficulties. Along with the synchronous implementation of 10 groups of tasks and solutions submitted to the provincial People's Council, the People's Committee will focus on carrying out a number of key tasks and solutions.
To welcome the investment wave in 2023, the provincial People's Committee will give high priority to creating industrial land fund and conditions to attract investment. Specifically, it will actively inspect and speed up the investment progress to complete the infrastructure of a number of industrial zones and clusters; promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, especially regarding administrative procedures and site clearance, to soon have a clean land fund to attract investment.
It will hasten secondary investors in industrial zones and clusters that have been granted investment certificates to carry out investment procedures in line with regulations; put new projects into operation to create jobs; and promote the province’s industrial production and economic growth in 2023.
They are also urged to accelerate construction process to put into operation key traffic routes and expand new space for industrial development; attract investment and develop industrial production.
In order to remove budgetary difficulties and ensure sufficient capital sources to implement political and development tasks in 2023, the provincial People's Committee will focus highly on budget management solutions, while prioritizing resources for the province’s important and urgent tasks to serve the socio-economic development, security and national defense goals.
It will continue to take drastically and synchronous measures to prevent tax loss and collect tax debt properly, sufficiently and in time; strictly manage loans and ensure full and on-time debt payment; reduce the rate and level of outstanding debt in capital construction, avoiding new outstanding debts.

In addition, great attention will be paid to disbursement of public investment and capital for three national target programmes, as well as dealing with the lack of land for leveling and rising prices of construction materials.
It will focus on arranging and upgrading a number of district-level administrative units in accordance with the general planning and development reality of the province, contributing to optimizing resources, promoting socio-economic development and increasing urban population rate in line with the general development trend of the whole country.
In recent years, the provincial People's Committee has made many efforts to strengthen land management, protect the environment, and ensuring security and order. However, there remain a number of shortcomings and limitations. In order to do well the above tasks, it is necessary to publicize information about land use planning.
