Bac Giang welcomes 1.4 million tourist arrivals in Q1
BAC GIANG - According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Bac Giang province welcomed about 1.4 million tourists, increasing nearly 10% over the same period last year; reaching more than 45% of the yearly target in 2025.
In particular, the Cultural - Tourism Week event attracted about 800,000 tourists. The most popular destinations included Tay Yen Tu spiritual - ecological tourism area (Son Dong), Yen The Festival (Yen The), Vinh Nghiem Pagoda (Bac Giang City), Sloong Hao singing festival, highland market and cultural, sports and tourism activities in Tan Son commune, fruit growing area of Luc Ngan district among others.

The above results were achieved thanks to the promotion of information and propaganda by sectors, units and localities together with diverse cultural events to create a widespread effect.
Many special activities were organized at festivals to restore traditional rituals and folk games; display and promote typical products.
Currently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism continues to advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct the resolution and removal of difficulties and obstacles in the planning of community tourism sites; develop green tourism development project; mobilize investment resources to renovate and upgrade relics, tourist areas and spots; promote propaganda and introduce tourism products.
In 2025, the whole province strives to welcome 3 million visitors.
