Bac Giang welcomes more than 700,000 tourists
BAC GIANG - According to statistics from districts, townships and city, Bac Giang province welcomed more than 700,000 visitors in 2025 Culture - Tourism Week, an increase of about 20% over the same period last year.
This year event was held at the provincial level from February 8 to 13 (lunar January 11 to 16).

The main venues were Tay Yen Tu Spiritual and Ecotourism complex (Son Dong); Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, Provincial Gymnasium (Bac Giang City); Suoi Mo Ecological Tourism Area (Luc Nam) and some localities in the province.
Events attracting many tourists included the procession of tablets of three Truc Lam Zen sect founders from Vinh Nghiem Pagoda to Tay Yen Tu’s Ha pagoda (Son Dong); the opening ceremony of the Culture - Tourism Week and Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival at the Tay Yen Tu spiritual - ecological tourism complex; the Xuong Giang Victory Festival (Bac Giang city); the Sloong Hao singing festival and the Tan Son highland spring market (Luc Ngan); the festival "Practicing the Vietnamese Mother Goddess Worshipping of the Three realms" at the Suoi Mo Eco-tourism area (Luc Nam); the open bicycle race themed "Journey in the footsteps of the King Monk".
After the Culture - Tourism Week, many festivals were held with unique cultural and sports activities, creating a good impression on the people and tourists in the districts of Tan Yen, Hiep Hoa, Yen The and Viet Yen township.
In March 2025, a number of major festivals will take place in the province such as Vinh Nghiem Pagoda Festival, Bo Da Pagoda Festival, Yen The Festival... which will attract a large number of visitors.
As many as 8,928 blood units were donated at the Xuan hong (Red spring) blood donation festival that ran from February 8 to 16 at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (NIHBT).
BAC GIANG - Xuan Luong commune People's Committee on February 16 (lunar January 19) held the opening ceremony of Xuan Lung - Thac Nga traditional festival at Xuan Lung communal house, Xuan Luong commune (Yen The district of Bac Giang province).
BAC GIANG – Lien Chung Communal People's Committee on February 16 (lunar January 19) organized a ceremony to open Danh Temple Festival and the 10th Commune Sports Festival on at Danh Temple, Hau Village, Lien Chung Commune (Tan Yen district of Bac Giang province).
BAC GIANG- On February 13 morning, the people’s committee of Luc Nam district held the opening ceremony of Than Nong (God of Agriculture) temple spring festival and tree planting festival in the New Year of the Snake. This event is one of the activities in the 2025 Bac Giang Culture-Tourism Week.
The Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival 2019 commenced in the northern province of Hai Duong on February 13, the 16th day of the first lunar month.
With approximately 8,000 festivals held across the country, these events are not only an occasion to honour the contributions of the past generations but also serve as a means of strengthening community bonds and preserving national identity.
