Bac Giang win one gold two bronzes at National Badminton Championships

(BGO) – In the evening of December 4, the final round of individual content of National Badminton Championships 2021 took place at the Sports Competition Hall in Bac Giang province.

At women’s single final match, Vietnam top leading player Nguyen Thuy Linh (Dong Nai) defeated Ho Chi Minh city athlete Vu Thi Trang to claim champion title while No.1 male athlete Nguyen Tien Minh was beaten by Le Duc Phat of military delegation to gain silver medal.

Pham Van Hai – Than Van Anh (red – Bac Giang team) compete at final match of mixed doubles event.

At women’s doubles category, the gold winners were Pham Thi Khanh – Dinh Thi Phuong Hong (Thai Binh) after conquering Ho Chi Minh city duo of Vu Thi Trang and Vu Thi Anh Thu at final match.

While, Pham Hong Nam and Do Tuan Duc of Hanoi team won at men’s doubles event over Lam Dong players Duong Trung Duc and Nguyen Xuan Hung.

Another surprise at the mixed doubles content was made by two players Pham Van Hai and Than Van Anh of host Bac Giang who excellently defeated Hanoi duo Do Tuan Duc and Pham Nhu Thao to claim champion title. Moreover, Tran Thi Phuong Thuy of Bac Giang team bagged a bronze at women’s single event while Than Van Anh and Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan were awarded a bronze medal at women’s doubles content.

As schedule, the team events will be competed from December 6 – 12 at the tourney.
