Bac Giang wins 10 medals at national youth shuttlecock kicking championship

(BGO) – The National Sports Administration has coordinated
with the Department of Culture and Sports in Ho Chi Minh city to organize the
2019 National Shuttlecock Kicking Championship for the Youth and Teenager.
The event drew 177 athletes from 12 delegations to compete in various categories of men’s team, women’s team, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, men’s singles, women’s singles and mix doubles under the age groups of under 13 years old, 14 – 15 years old, 16 – 18 years old.

20 athletes from the northern province of Bac Giang participated in the championship with great effort and bagged 1 gold, 2 silvers and 7 bronzes. As the result, Bac Giang team secured fourth place in the overall ranking.
The gold medal was awarded to the women’s doubles Nguyen Thi Thu Huong and Nguyen Thi Binh.
