Over the past years, thanks to leadership of the party committee at all level, collaboration of the government, support of the agencies and unions and involvement of the business community and people, supporting the poor in Bac Giang province has gained good results.

In line with the resources from the Central and locality, “Fund for the poor” has helped the poor and policy beneficiary households to improve their quality of life while achieving consensus among people of all strata, contributing to socio-economic development and good implementation of social welfare programmes in the province.

However, Bac Giang is estimated to have 16,372 poor households, accounting for 3.5 percent and 26,811 near poor households, taking 5.73 percent. In which, many poor households need attention and support of the community.

In order to promote the traditional solidarity and humanity of Vietnamese people in line with experience and results in mobilisation to support for the poor so far, the Fatherland Front Committee, the Mobilising Board of the Fund for the poor of Bac Giang province call for donation from all levels, sectors, agencies, units, associations, businesses, donors, local people and Bac Giang people living abroad and across the nation to support the poor through “Fund for the poor” and the Social welfare programme of Bac Giang province with the slogan “Joining hands for the poor. No one is left behind”. The campaign is scheduled from 17 October to 18 November 2020.

All donations should be sent to the Fund for the poor of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province at the account number 3761.0.1062613, code of target programme 91046 at the provincial Treasury or directly at the Office of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province at the third floor, building B, provincial Inter-Agency Headquarter, 3-2 Square (Bac Giang city).

The Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province is expected for good deeds and sense of responsibility for the community of the agencies, units, associations, businesses and all Bac Giang people to contribute to ensuring social welfare and sustainable development of the province.
