Bac Giang’s products promoted in several fairs and exhibition

(BGO) – In 2018, the Rural Development Division (RDD) in Bac Giang province participated in 7 trade fairs showcasing various agricultural and rural products with a total implementation expense of over 680 million VND (over 29,100 USD). 

These events included One Commune One Product (OCOP) Fair 2018 in the Nothern areas held in Quang Ninh province; the 18th International Agriculture Trade Fair – Agro Viet 2018; Mau Tuat Spring Fair 2018; OCOP Fair and Vietnamese Goods Fair in Hanoi city.

Many visitors flock to Bac Giang’s OCOP products showcase in Viet Yen district.

Besides, the RDD organized a booth at the National exhibition on the 10 year implementation of Resolution on agriculture, farmers and rural areas adopted at the seventh plenum of the 10th Party Central Committee; took part in the exhibition at Viet Yen district, trade fair and exposition held in the cities of Da Nang city and Hanoi as well as the provinces of Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen and Bac Giang.

These fairs and exhibition helped introduce many provincial farm products to numerous friends, promote the trademarks, image and improve the prestige of the local agriculture produce on the market while facilitating them to join the big consumption and distribution channels in some domestic provinces cities as well as look for the potential export market.

Bac Giang city increases competitiveness of craft villages
(BGO)- Bac Giang city now has some traditional craft villages specializing in producing food products such as Ke dry pancake and Da Mai vermicelli, which have been existed for hundreds of years. Thanks to these crafts, many households have stable incomes. However, the number of households engaging in the crafts is on the downward trend.
 
Nineteen traditional handicraft villages to meet in Hoi An
Thirteen traditional handicraft villages of Hanoi and six traditional handicraft villages of Quang Nam will be showcasing their products at An Hoi Sculpture Garden, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, from August 17 to 19.
