Tran Van Hanh, deputy head of the team, said a joint venture between the Van Cuong Construction United Co., Ltd. and Hanoi Investment and Construction JSC No. 1 takes charge of the work.
The contractor has zoned out more than 800m of land leading to the bridge, comprising the area to both sides of Tran Quang Khai Street in Tho Xuong ward and the area linking with Hoang Hoa Tham Street in Song Mai commune.
According to the Management Board of Construction Investment Projects No. 2 in Bac Giang city, the land clearance work took place smoothly, receiving the support of locals.
Than Thi Thu Thuy, Secretary of the Tho Xuong Party Committee said the cleared land belongs to Huong residential area. The small area belonging to Cung Nhuong 1 is low-lying land that is unsuitable for cultivation. Therefore, the land reclamation has not affected many locals’ production and daily life.

As scheduled, the project will be implemented in three years. However, representatives of the contractor said with the high concentration in direction, the consensus of officials and people of the city, along with if the weather is favorable and the disbursement is smooth, the project may be completed one year ahead of the schedule.
In order to ensure the progress and quality of the work, the project’s Management Board will regularly inspect and supervise the construction quality. It will also focus on directing and urging the contractor to mobilize sufficient human resources, machines
It will also take initiative in coordinating with design and supervision consultancy units, and concerned units to promptly remove difficulties in the construction process.
