(BGO) – The People’s Committee in Luc Nam
district (Bac Giang province) has coordinated with Bac Giang High
Bio-Technology Joint Stock Company (BG High Bio-Tech) to start revamping the
old office of the district State Treasury in Doi Ngo street, Doi Ngo town to
build the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Introduction and Selling Center of the
district.
The project is invested by BG High Bio-Tech with total construction value of over 4 billion VND (172,582 USD).

Now, the construction contractor is accelerating the progress to ensure the standard of booth, trademark identification in line with OCOP requirement, aesthetic property for the whole urban space.
As schedule, the project will be completed and put in use in early September 2020. After completion, it will exhibit, introduce, promote and sell the OCOP products, outstanding and signature farm produce in Luc Nam district and Bac Giang province in connection with several services of resting and welcoming visitors.
Luc Nam is one of 4 districts (Viet Yen, Yen The, Luc Nam and Bac Giang city) selected by the provincial People’s Committee to build the center to introduce, promote and sell OCOP products.
OCOP programme standardises local products and promotes rural economic development

implementing “One Commune, One Product” (OCOP) programme with initial results. Various
OCOP products with eye-catching packages promise to create the rural economic
resilience. The Deputy Director of Department of Agriculture and Rural
Department (DARD) in Bac Giang province Nguyen Viet Toan granted an interview
to Bac Giang Newspaper’s reporter about this issue.

northern province of Bac Giang have registered to build theirs key commodity
brand and product, many of which have the trademark and move toward national
products.
OCOP fair to house over 100 stalls in Hanoi
The “One Commune, One Product” fair will take place in Hanoi on October 10 – 13 with over 100 stalls on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the liberation of the capital (October 10) and Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13).
