Accordingly, the citizen overpass crossing the national road No 1 which is built at Km 124+660 (near the gate to Van Trung Industrial Park) is designed for non-motorized vehicles and pedestrian.

The overpass is 46 meter long, 5 meter wide (the roadway for motorbike and non-motorized vehicles is 3 meter, the pedestrian foot path is 1 meter in each side) and 5.2 meter high.

In both sides of the overpass, there are stairs for the pedestrian and the path for non-motorized vehicles.

The citizen overpass across national road No 37 is built at Km 70 + 740 in Hoang Ninh commune (Viet Yen district) with the length of 33.4m, width of 3m and height of 4.95m as well as stairs for pedestrian in both sides.

The workers regularly cross the national road No 1 with high risk of unsafe traffic.

Total investment of two project hits over 24.3 billion VND (1 million USD) mobilized from the provincial budget. Thang Long Bridge 3 Joint Stock Company was assigned as the construction contractor.

The project will be executed till the end of this year. After being completed, the projects are expected to reduce the traffic jam, prevent the workers in the industrial parks and clusters from dangerously crossing the national road no 1 and 37 as well as shorten the road in a safety and convenient manner.
