Vietnam’s first 5D-effect glass bridge inaugurated

The Vietnam’s first glass suspension bridge with 5D effects was inaugurated at Muong Sang commune, Moc Chau district, Son La province, on April 25.

The pedestrian bridge measures nearly 100 m in length and 2 m in width with its floor made of 5cm thick bullet-proof glass imported from the Republic of Korea.

The bridge named “Love Glass Bridge”.

The glass-bottomed bridge has an investment of over VND30 billion (US$1.29 million), and it was built in only four months. It can serve 50-70 visitors at a time with the ticket price set at VND100,000 (US$4.3) per visitor.

The bearing capacity of the bridge is approximately 60 tonnes.

The bridge, named “Love Glass Bridge”, is designed with the symbol of couples love, which features 10 heart-shaped structures on a pillar together with 10 lotus petals at the bottom.

The pedestrian bridge measures nearly 100m in length and 2m in width.

Visitors will have a chance to experience more than 30 effects when walking on the bridge including broken glass, blooming flowers, swimming fish, and heart shapes, among others.

The bridge was invested in by Vietnamese Pha Luong Tourism Company which is expected to connect tourism attractions in Moc Chau district and Son La province in general.
