Organic Agriculture Technology Joint Stock Company (Kim Hang JSC) in Luc Ngan
district, Bac Giang province has exported first batch of 36,000 sweet red
pomelo to Russia.
According to its Director Do Thi Hang, the Russian partner searched for information on website of the company then inked the purchasing contract.

4 months ago, this company assigned staff to Vietnam to study about the citrus growing areas with qualified quality as its demand such as organic production, friendly to the environment, the content of plant protection product within allowable rate.

Qualified fruits are selected before export.

Finally, the Russian company selected the citrus growing area in Bac Giang province to import the first class of sweet red pomelo with the weight of 1.4 – 1.6kg per fruit.

The pomelo is packed then loaded to the container.

The first batch of pomelo was from the orchard of Nguyen Van Tru in Xom Lang village, Binh Son commune (Luc Nam district). Hang said: “From now on till the end of January 2021, Kim Hang JSC will export 21,600 pomelo more to its partner which is equal to 6 containers)”.

orange, pomelo and signature products in 2020, many visitors and travel
agencies have come to Luc Ngan district in the northern province of Bac Giang
to enjoy the local landscape and get the actual experience.

of Culture and Information in Luc Ngan district (Bac Giang province) on
November 8 coordinated with the People’s Committee in the communes of Nam Duong
and Tan Moc to welcome the first tourist delegation introduced by Hanoi based
Tre Viet International Travel Company to enjoy the orange and pomelo season in
the area in 2020.
Chile opens door for Vietnam’s pomelo
According to the Minister of Agriculture of Chile Antonio Walker, Chilean authorities have granted permission to Vietnam to ship pomelo to the Latin American market.
