(BGO) – According to the Department of
Science and Technology (Bac Giang
province), Vietnam Institute of Agricultural Engineering & Post-Harvest
Technology has completed the technological procedure for the Israeli Juran’s system
to classify and treat the fresh lychee.
The system is completed by integrating the initially equipped line with the steaming and sterilization system to form a completed one. After pilot running, the system can meet the requirement to export the fresh lychee to several high demanding markets of Japan, EU, US...

The lychee treatment and preservation line is operated in Luc Ngan district.

The Israeli Juran Technology of lychee preservation is co-invested by Toan Cau Food Import Export Joint Stock Company (Luc Ngan district) in the task of implementing the project “Research to apply the Israeli Juran Technology to preserve lychee and other fruits for export” since 2018.
However, due to the technical issues, the new system has recently been recovered and completed.
As schedule, the system will pilot to preserve then export 3 tonnes of lychee by airway and over 20 tonnes by sea to Japan in 2020 season.
Bac Giang selects 66 orchards to promote lychee tourism

– Implementing the instruction from the Chairman of Bac Giang provincial People’s
Committee about some key task in lychee consumption in 2020 season, the provincial
Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has coordinated with the People’s
Committee in Luc Ngan district to select the orchards to introduce and promote
to the travel agencies.
Bac Giang launches tours of lychee seasons
(BGO) – In response
of Programme “Vietnamese people travel Vietnam”, the Department of Culture, Sports,
Tourism (DoCST) in the northern province of Bac Giang has issued document to
suggest Luc Ngan district People’s Committee, the provincial Tourism
Association, Center of Tourism Information and Promotion, Travel agencies and
local tourism sites to accelerate the implementation of various tour to visit
and experience the lychee in the province.
